Successful completion of Zakynthos project

A Bellagio project to strengthen the management of a marine park in Greece has been successfully completed. Initiated by Forum member Euronatur, the project helped the National Marine Park of Zakynthos gain essential know-how and key new partners. As a result the project has become a blueprint for funding
similar conservation projects. It has also led to the Greek government
announcing plans for establishing 24 national park management agencies, along
NMPZ lines, by 2006.
