Hilary Cheng Geok Chiew - an environment journalist working for the English daily newspaper, The Star, in Malaysia - will be the next Bellagio Fellow at Oxford. She is the second journalist to be awarded the one-term fellowship. 

The first Bellagio Fellow was Lyla Bavadam, who works in India for Frontline and who was up at Oxford University from October 2002 to January 2003 under this award. Report
