A transnational project to encourage companies to adopt environmental best practice, introduce innovative environmental management strategies and to develop new environmentally-sound products and production methods - thus creating new jobs.
The project, which involved seven partner organizations in Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden and the UK and received financial support from the European Social Fund "ADAPT" and the Deutsche Bundesstifftung Umwelt, was completed in October 2000.
A collection of case studies and a full report on the transnational dimension of the project can be obtained from the BFSD Secretariat. |
