A Bellagio Forum Members Project.

Within the Working Group 'Energy' the BFSD members launched an innovative approach to challenge deforestation, indoor-air-pollution and limited fossil resources. In collaboration with the Hohenheim University an innovative device that can utilize all available plant-oils for cooking purposes was designed. The use of plant-oil offers a variety of economic and ecological advantages - especially in developing countries.

After several successful field-tests on the Phillipines, the Bellagio Forum Plant-Oil Cooker will now be introduced to a broader group in developed countries.
