MEMBERS' RIGHTS, BENEFITS, OBLIGATIONS AND FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS

• Use BFSD's global network for environment and development work
  
  
• Be part of BFSD's international projects
  
  
• Propose and present new Bellagio initiatives to the membership
  
  
• Request consultancy services from the Forum at membership discount rates
  
  
• Appear with name and logo in BFSD publications (upon request)
  
  
• Attend free of charge all Bellagio Forum events including annual meetings
  
  
• Use the Forum's logo (upon request/to be decided by BFSD-Board)
  
  
• Participate in the Forum's media events and press releases where applicable
  
  
• Request specific regional, national and international expertise from the Secretariat, members and partner organizations
  
  
• Stand for election to the Bellagio Forum's Board of Directors 

Member Organizations should:

• Regard sustainable development as a major aspect of their policy and - in the case of corporations - as an integral part of their business activities
  
  
• Comply with all regional, national and international environmental regulations and - in the case of corporations - recognise sustainable development as a significant commitment to the company's corporate responsibility
  
  
• Be able and willing to work in partnership with other Bellagio Forum Members and actively contribute to the overall goals and to individual projects of the Forum
  
  
• Facilitate the transfer of know-how and expertise between member organizations and provide financial support for BFSD programs (where applicable)
  
  
• Foster an open dialogue with all sectors of society and provide free information on internal environmental policies and - in the case of corporations - management strategies related to the company's environmental goals
  
  
• Be represented at the Forum's annual meetings and special events
  
  
• Have the capacity to contribute an annual membership financial contribution in accordance with criteria set by BFSD.
