The nomination must identify the particular qualities of the submission, which make it worthy of winning the award. The proposal should be brief, concise and factual and should state clearly whether and to what extent third parties have made a contribution to the entry. At least one sample of the work must be submitted. Self-nominations are possible. If necessary, the organizers may request recommendations or references to assist in judging the performance of the nominee.
The Environmental Award Committee - comprising the Forum and EURONATUR - rules in all questions of admission to the competition.
The prize is awarded annually.
