Often a key to successfully promoting positive change is to help specific groups as well as the general public learn more about local, national and international issues that might affect them. By engaging the public or specific target groups directly - for instance journalists or World Heritage Site managers - the Awareness Working Groups aims to educate, inform and inspire a greater understanding of the need to balance economic, social and environmental goals. |
