Criteria for the EC Award

All
those who work in the media are invited to submit and/or to suggest
entries. This includes journalists in the print and broadcasting media
(radio and TV), press officers of ministries, public institutions and agencies,
nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), the publicity departments of private
companies, unions and federations, as well as commercial public-relations
agencies. Artists are also eligible.
Nominations will be assessed with
particular attention given to their effectiveness in presenting new pragmatic
solutions to meet the enormous challenges we face in creating a more sustainable
world. In particular, the exemplary character and originality of the
subject and its efficacy in preventing future environmental problems are
important criteria. |
